Explore East Herts this February Half Term

Why not make the most of half term by heading out to explore the district’s green spaces and farms. We’ve featured a handful of things for you to try with the family, from hands on nature adventures in Panshanger Park, to feeding the ducks from our solar-powered duck feeder at Southern Country Park, meeting the free-range animals and playing farm bingo at Church Farm in Ardeley or enjoying the Big Tractor Experience at Foxholes Farm. Please note, booking is required for some activities.

Panshanger Park

Discover, Explore, and Grow with the Nature Explorers monthly group. Young explorers can develop outdoor skills, spark curiosity about the natural world, and enjoy exciting hands-on adventures in the beautiful surroundings of Panshanger Park.

Each session offers something new – from games and nature-based activities to practical skills and guided exploration – all led by our team of trained volunteers.

Nature Explorers is part of Tarmac’s community programme at Panshanger Park.
